Find problems on your website, understand who they affect, and see what to fix next. Proviso checks public pages for accessibility barriers, missing disclosures, tracking signals and security settings, then records what it found in a report you can act on.

What is checked
- Accessibility barriers
- Public pages are opened in a real browser and checked against automated accessibility rules. Automated rules find many barriers but not all of them; some issues still need a person to judge.
- Missing disclosures
- Pages are checked for the statements visitors are usually looking for, such as an accessibility statement, privacy information and contact details.
- Tracking signals
- The third-party tracking and analytics loaded by the page is recorded, so you can see what is running on your website.
- Security settings
- Publicly observable settings, such as transport security and response headers, are recorded as they were seen at the time of the scan.
What you get back
A saved report for each assessment. It opens with the few things that matter most, each written as an instruction rather than a code, with a note on who is affected. Behind every item sits the recorded evidence, so a developer can act on it and you can see what was observed. Reports can be downloaded as a PDF or as data, and a later scan of the same scope shows what has changed since. A scan is a bounded technical check of public pages, not a legal opinion or a guarantee of compliance.

Getting started
- Create an account. Your workspace and records are private to you.
- Enter the address of a website you are authorised to test, and confirm that authority.
- Confirm you control the domain by adding a DNS record or a small file. This is what stops anyone assessing a website that is not theirs.
- Run the assessment and read the saved report.
